What an incredible event! From the band (Mike Milhorn and The New Moral Low Ground) to the master of ceremonies, Shuli Egar, the night was magical. The venue was perfect, the sound system fantastic, the beer (from Sleepy Owl Brewery) was delicious and the comedians who competed all brought their A-game. EVERY SINGLE COMEDIAN got laughs (some more than others) and the crowd…oh, the crowd, you people were beautiful! The crowd came out to have a good time and they wanted the comics to do well…this was a new comics dream, to play to a packed house of people who want to love them. This doesn’t happen very often in a new comic’s career.

THANK YOU, KINGSPORT, thank you, Shuli, and thank you to the 9 intrepid comedic pioneers who are trying to do something very difficult in a small community…make it in comedy.
